Vacation Specialist

This position is an entry level position into Century 21 Action, Inc.’s rental division.  It is a full time position within the company comprised of work any of the seven days of the week, dependent on seasons, workload, and general scheduling.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

Vacation Sales
  • Selling vacations to telephone inquiries, walk in traffic, & web based inquiries
  • Following up on company generated leads to secure a rental booking.
  • Assist in the training of new Vacation Specialist
  • Mailing of rental brochure, rental confirmations, etc.
  • Knowing, Learning, Observing, and Enforcing all company policies, procedures, rental properties, and contracts with both owners and tenants.
  • Report any problems, possible problems, and/or conflicts with tenants, owners, vendors, employees to the appropriate Supervisor(s).
  • Document all interaction with renters, owners, and vendors in the computer.
  • Filing, copying, cleaning, mailing, and other duties as need be
  • Serve and assist vacation renters, long-term tenants, property owners, and vendors via telephone, face-to-face interaction, e-mail, and mail correspondence.
  • Ensure that all rental units are ready for occupancy by each rental guest by the appropriate check-in time.
  • Collect and disperse money, keys, contracts, and policies.

 

General Duties
  • Assisting with cleaning and maintenance duties as necessary.
  • Attending company meetings and training events.

 

Requirements for the Job
  • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation at all times, and proper insurance on the vehicle.
    • High standards and ability to hold people accountable to company expectations.
  • Appropriate Cleaning Methods.

  • Great communication skills.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Possible out of state, overnight travel
  • Weekend Work
  • Great, customer winning attitude and style
  • Minimum Booking, Productivity, Conversion Ratio requirements must be met on an ongoing basis.
