The Surf City Summer Market is right on the island and is open Tuesdays from 9a.m. to 2p.m. located at Soundside Park. The Farmers' Market at Poplar Grove Plantation

Head off the island and pay a visit to the historic Poplar Grove Plantation and while you're there stop by the farmer's market on Wednesdays from 8a.m. to 1p.m. They'd love for you to get to know their farmers, bakers and artisan makers! Wilmington Riverfront Farmers' Market

Wilmington makes for a wonderful day trip from Topsail Island. It's an easy drive and takes less than an hour. There's so much to see in the city, but if you do decide to go be sure to leave time to check out the Riverfront Farmers' Market on a Saturday from 8a.m. to 1p.m. located at 2 North Water Street, on the corner of Water and Princess along the Cape Fear River.
